You may remember that Disney announced a space-themed restaurant coming to Future World during the 2017 D23 Expo. Yesterday Disney finally announced where that the space-themed restaurant will be located in Epcot and it makes sense. This new dining experience will be placed in between Mission: SPACE and Test Track.
This space-themed restaurant is going to be spectacular. Just look at the image above, I don’t care if they are selling chicken nuggets and French fries for $20 a plate, I just want to feel like I am in a Space Station with spectacular views of space from those giant windows. In Disney fashion, I imagine the images you see outside will be way more than a stationary view of the stars.
The new restaurant will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group who has a good track record of bringing great experiences to Walt Disney World with restaurants like Tutto Italia and Via Napoli at Epcot and Morimoto Asia and Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante at Disney Springs.
I recommend scheduling your FastPass for Mission: SPACE before hitting your reservation at this new space-themed restaurant. We don’t want to give the great Custodial Cast Members more to clean up!
It is great to see Disney bringing new life to Epcot’s Future World.
